The Founder

Welly Minyangadou Ngokobi

I am a doctoral student in the Faculty of Education at McGill University. I work with the Education Graduate Student Society (EGSS) and other committees within DISE on bettering student experiences on campus.

I have a passion for all forms of art, and an advocate for the representation of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour communities in our faculty and across the university.

The "See us, Hear us, Learn from us" Student Art Exhibition is one of the initiatives I have founded and am leading at the University. Another, is "Take Care of You, Boo", a series of literary recommendations tailored to Black mental health and well-being. This series operates during Black History Month.
